It is Jamie Ferguson’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you or which you may provide to us on this site. This policy explains how we collect, use, safeguard, and otherwise make use of your personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”).

Comments

When you leave a comment, we collect the name, email address, and website you provide, along with your IP address, to display the comment and prevent spam.

Analytics

We use Jetpack Stats (a WordPress.com service by Automattic) to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site. We do not sell visitor data.

Newsletter

Jamie’s newsletter is hosted by Substack. When you subscribe, your email address is held by Substack and handled under Substack’s own privacy policy. Your information will never be sold, loaned, or traded. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any newsletter, and unsubscribing is immediate.

Embedded content and links

Pages on this site may embed content from other services (for example Instagram or YouTube); those services may set their own cookies when the embedded content loads. When you follow links to retailers or to the Blackbird Publishing store, the destination site’s privacy policy applies.
