I designed another cover – and yes, this one has sparkles too! Thanks to my friends Rachel and Kathryn for reviewing several versions of the cover, with varying amounts of sparkles. It’s amazing how much time you can spend trying out different configurations of sparkles…
“The Lesson of the Love Spell” will appear in The Witches’ Brew bundle, which launches October 1st. This bundle will contain 20 witchy stories by 20 different authors.
If this sounds fun to you – and it should! witches are fun! 🙂 – you can ‘like’ the bundle’s Facebook page, where I’ll soon be posting information about the stories and the authors.
Bewitchery, my other witch-themed story, will be released before the end of the month, and I’m working on a related story that I hope to release in November. Unless that story decides it wants to be a novel…I can’t tell for sure yet.
I still have stories out in two bundles: “The City Trees” is in The Fantasy in the City bundle, and “The Cat’s Meow” is in The Out of This World bundle.
After today, The Out of This World bundle will no longer be available on BundleRabbit – but it will be available on Amazon, iBooks, Kobo, and Barnes & Noble for a limited time.
If you purchase this bundle through BundleRabbit you have the option to donate 10% of the purchase price to one of two great charities: First Book, which provides access to new books for children in need, or World Vets, which provides international veterinary and disaster relief assistance to help animals.
All this bundling is a lot of fun, but in spite of what it looks like, the bulk of my writing time is being spent actually writing. And reading… In two weeks I’ll be in Oregon at a week-long writing workshop called “How to Write Historical, Time Travel, and Alternate History stories in all forms,” taught by Kristine Kathryn Rusch. I still have a LOT of reading left to do before class starts – plus I have to write a new short story and turn it in as soon as I get there. I may be writing in the airport…
It’s so much fun being part of your process. Thank you for letting me help. 🙂
Thank you for helping! 🙂
