I had so much fun putting this collection together that I’ve decided to turn The Faerie Summer into the first of a series of faery-themed bundles! The next one is scheduled to come out at Midwinter, also known as the winter solstice. (This is a northern hemisphere approach – in the southern hemisphere, the next issue will come out on Midsummer…)

I’m also planning a novel with some of the characters from my bundled story “The Faery’s Choice.” I’m not entirely sure what will happen in that story, but it’s going to be fun to find out.

Next up is the Beneath the Waves bundle, which launches in mid-June. The theme is mythical water creatures. As you can see from the artwork, it’s obviously a very different type of collection…

I’ve committed to a jam-packed schedule for the next year or so, which feels both daunting and exciting. I’ve got two stories that are due in the next week, then I’m going to write another short story, wrap up my edits on Entangled by Midsummer, outline and write a series of witch-themed novelettes/novellas, write at least five new short stories this year, work on my faerie novel series, and try to get ahead on all the things I’ve already signed up for in 2018. And, of course, I’m sure I’ll commit to more new things along the way! Like Rosie and Jasper, I’m always happiest when I’m busy – I just play with stories instead of pine cones. 🙂
